How do your cold air diffusers work?
Our diffusers use cold-air micronization technology, without water or heat. The scented oil is transformed into an ultra-fine mist that gently diffuses into the air. This process preserves all the olfactory richness of the fragrances, while providing a homogeneous, subtle, and long-lasting diffusion in your space.
Do your diffusers require water?
No. Our diffusers operate without water, exclusively with our concentrated fragrance oils. It is essential never to add water to the device, as this could impair its operation and damage the diffusion system.
Why choose cold diffusion over a water diffuser?
Cold air diffusion preserves all the richness of the fragrance, without heat or dilution. This allows you to enjoy a purer, truer, and longer-lasting scent in your space, with no added humidity.
How to choose the ideal diffuser for my space?
The AROMAÉ Tower is ideal for large spaces and open-plan rooms, offering powerful and even diffusion up to approximately 1400 sq ft, perfect for living rooms, offices, and boutiques. For smaller spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, or vehicles, the MOTION diffuser is more suitable, with targeted and adjustable diffusion. Depending on the size of your space and the desired ambiance, you can adjust the intensity for a customized experience.
Does the device make noise when it's running?
Our diffusers are designed for discreet operation, with a barely noticeable gentle puff and a sound level below 38 dB. They offer a soft and silent diffusion, ideal for living spaces, relaxation, or sleep, without disturbing your comfort.
Can I leave my diffuser running overnight or continuously?
Yes. The system can operate safely for extended periods. You can use the minimum intensity for nighttime or program cycles for a gentler, more consistent diffusion.
How long do your diffusers' batteries last?
Our diffusers offer variable battery life depending on the intensity and frequency of use. Gentler diffusion extends battery life, while more sustained use consumes more power.
How to clean your diffuser?
For optimal maintenance, we recommend using Maison Aromea cleaning solution, specially designed to thoroughly clean the diffusion system. Pour a small amount into the diffuser, then let it run for 30 minutes to 1 hour to effectively remove oil residues. Once the cycle is complete, empty the contents and let it dry before adding a new fragrance. This cleaning is recommended when changing perfumes or after prolonged use.
Safety note:
Using any product other than Maison Aromea cleaning solution is not recommended and may compromise the proper functioning of the device. This could also lead to the cancellation of the warranty. Make sure the diffuser is turned off before any handling.
What is the warranty offered on Maison Aromea diffusers?
Our diffusers are covered by a twelve-month warranty against manufacturing defects. In the event of a problem, our team is committed to first assisting you in identifying and resolving the situation. If necessary, we will replace the device free of charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, product modification, or the use of non-recommended products. Our priority is to provide you with a reliable, peaceful, and long-lasting experience with your Maison Aromea diffuser.
What kind of oils are compatible with your diffusers?
All our diffusers are designed to work exclusively with Maison Aromea oils. Our formulations have been specially developed and tested to ensure optimal diffusion, while preserving the performance and durability of the device. The use of non-recommended oils could alter the diffuser's functioning and is not advised.

Can I use your aromatic oils in a water diffuser?
Our oils can be used in a water diffuser, but this is not the recommended use. Their formulation is designed for cold air diffusion, without dilution, to provide a purer and more lasting fragrance. In a water diffuser, performance will be reduced and diffusion less accurate. For an optimal experience, we recommend using our Maison Aromea diffusers.
What does IFRA certification mean?
Our oils comply with IFRA standards, ensuring safe use in living spaces. This compliance ensures that our fragrances are formulated according to strict standards, limiting potentially irritating ingredients, and offering reliable and controlled diffusion.
Where do your oils come from?
Our fragrances are formulated in Quebec using high-quality ingredients, carefully selected for their purity, olfactory precision, and stability. Each oil is developed to offer a refined, true, and long-lasting experience.
Are your oils safe for children or animals?
Yes. Our oils comply with IFRA standards, ensuring safe use when diffused in an appropriate environment. They are designed for cold air diffusion and should be used in a well-ventilated area. We also recommend avoiding direct skin contact and keeping the products out of reach of children and pets.
Can I ingest or apply the oils to my skin?
No. Maison Aromea oils are formulated exclusively for cold air diffusion. They should not be ingested, applied to the skin, or used as a body fragrance. Their composition is optimized to perfume the air in a clean and refined way, and not for cosmetic or food use.
Do your oils stain surfaces or fabrics?
Our fragrance oils are exclusively designed for cold air diffusion and should not be applied directly to surfaces or fabrics. When used correctly with our Maison Aromea diffusers, they leave no residue.
How long does a bottle of Maison Aromea oil last?
The life of a bottle varies according to the chosen format, as well as the intensity and frequency of use. Larger formats naturally offer extended autonomy, while lower intensity use allows you to enjoy the fragrance for longer.
What is the olfactory pyramid?
The olfactory pyramid describes how a fragrance evolves over time, in three distinct stages:
- Top notes are the first to be perceived upon application. They are light, fresh, and evaporate quickly.
- Middle notes then emerge and form the main identity of the fragrance. They provide balance and character.
- Base notes appear last and linger the longest. They give depth and staying power to the perfume.
